References Canada’s right wing minister Vic Toews defending his government’s backing of a controversial and vastly over-reaching Internet surveillance bill (PCIPA) that will allow the government to spy on peoples Internet activities without a warrant whenever it feels like it. He said, in all seriousness, that the public “can either stand with us or with the child pornographers.” The craziness and the police-state mentality must be spreading north from the USA. Poor Canada.
